Adi Lorean, D.M.D
Dr. Lorean Adi completed his Maxillo-Facial training at Poriya Governmental Hospital and Queen Victoria Hospital at East Greenstead –England in 1997.
He is currently :
Associate Professor at the Department of Implantology and Vice Dean for International Affairs at University Titu Maiorescu, Bucharest, Romania.
Medical Director of 2 private dental clinics with the main focus in implantology Member of the advisory board of ADIN Ltd.
Between 1996 -2005 Dr. Lorean Adi was senior surgeon at the Maxillo – Facial Department, Poriya Hospital and conducted the training program for maxilla-facial residents.
Between 2002-2010 Dr. Lorean Adi was head of the R&D department for surgical development technologies of Brainsgate Ltd.
that provides pioneering treatment for stroke and dementia patients. During this period Dr. Lorean conducted pre clinical and clinical trials on animals and humans in over 20 countries over the world and he is the co- author of 6 U.S patents.
Between 2010 and 2013 he was actively involved in the international education and training program for doctors that are involved in the research related with the treatment of stroke patients.
Between 2009 – 2010 Dr Lorean was involve in research project that involved possibilities of treatment of periimplantitis using titanium granules conducted by Tigran Ltd.
Dr. Lorean is currently involved in research projects related with dental implants placed in diabetic patients, long term outcome of implants placed in healthy patients and development of surgical
device for minimal invasive sinus lift augmentation and published over 27 articles on maxillo-facial and implantology subjects.
Dr. Lorean Adi conducts numerous lectures, seminars, hands on courses, live surgery interactive teaching and webinars in Israel and all over the world.
Dr. Lorean is former Treasurer and Secretary of the Israeli Association of Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
Nachum Samet, D.M.D
Dr. Nachum Samet holds a dental degree (1987), as well as a certificate in prosthodontics (1992) from the Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel.
Between 2003 and 2008, Dr. Samet acted as the Director of Pre-Doctoral Prosthodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, were he also held a degree of Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials. At this time, Dr. Samet still holds a part-time position at Harvard, and is a member of the school’s Board.
In recognition to his significant contribution, Dr. Samet received numerous awards, including the “Distinguished Junior Faculty Award” from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In 2007 he was honored by Harvard University as one of its Best Teachers.
Dr. Samet has been placing and restoring dental implants for over 20 years. During this time, he has been constantly involved in the development of dental implants and specifically surgical and restorative techniques aiming to enhance clinical outcomes. Between 2010 and 2014, Dr. Samet held the position of VP for Research at MIS Implants Technologies Ltd., while still holding a faculty position at Harvard. His main responsibilities there involved evaluation of novel technologies related to Dental Implants, as well as to promote and facilitate research projects that were done in conjunction with Universities and Research Institutions around the globe, in more than 30 countries.
Dr. Samet published over 20 articles in the professional literature. One of his articles, entitled: “Classification and prognosis evaluation of individual teeth–a comprehensive approach” has become a part of the standard curriculum in over 100 dental schools in five continents. In recognition of his knowledge and experience, Dr. Samet is frequently invited as a speaker in major International meetings and in Universities, Conferences and professional meetings worldwide.
Dr. Samet is a member of several professional organizations, including the Academy of Osseointegration, American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Periodontology, and American Dental Education Association, in which he served as Chair Elect in the Section on Prosthodontics.
